SOPO NYC

When Hurricane Sandy hit the East Coast in 2012 it severely impacted New York City and brought the entire city to a halt.  As a designer for the NIKEiD Design Studio at Roosevelt Field, I was commissioned to create apparel for the New York City Nike Run Club to illustrate their dedication to the running culture. SOPO stands for South Of the Power Outage, the area of Manhattan they would run in which wasn’t affected by the power outage.
