UMAA 2018

The Universal Muslim Association of America is an NGO that works on social, political, religious, and humanitarian issues. Every year it hosts a convention in order to foster inter and intrafaith unity, dispel misgivings about Islam and Muslims through civic engagement, and help Americans understand Islam through the Quran and the teachings of the Prophet Muhammad and the Ahlulbayt.

The 16th annual convention, The Conference of Imam Redha was held in Dearborn, MI in July of 2018 under the theme of ‘Engaging with Purpose.’ I was tasked with designing the brand identity of the conference with its official logo, flyers, posters, and attendee badges for print as well as online marketing. The conference was attended by thousands from all over the United States along with scholars and reciters from the UK, Bahrain, and Australia.
